A New Voice in Speculative Fiction - From Montreal to the World!

Welcome to the.gloaming magazine! For those of you who know us already, yes, we have decided to switch to an online format for the magazine! A print version will still be available through our store, but in general, this is the format we will be using. And there are several advantages to going online! You can get all your the.gloaming needs filled all at the same place! We can have weekly blogs, and no one will ever have to miss a single issue. Not to mention the fact that you will get to have more issues than ever before!

For all of you who might be experiencing the.gloaming for the first time, allow us to introduce ourselves! the.gloaming magazine is a speculative fiction magazine based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We began publication in 2006 and have published four biannual anthologies so far in print. We publish science fiction, fantasy, and horror prose and poetry.

For our online format, we are planning several subscription options. For now, access to issues and blogs are free. You will soon be able to choose the subscription period that works for you. Subscribers will receive full access to our anthology and site, including exclusive access to special content like our writers' workshop. Our weekly blog content will always be free.
